Jack Fredrickson, such as he is.
Fredrickson admits little other than after something of successful careers in productivity consulting and owning and managing an interior design/commercial furnishings firm, he abandoned productive employment to write in dark places. Oddly, given his limitations, he's found something besides mold--a modest following. More strangely, he's earned starred reviews and mentions and features in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the Chicago Sun-Times. Oddest of all, his works have received Shamus Award Nominations for Best First Novel, Best Novel, and Best Short Story, proving that even seasoned crime story analysts can be fooled, and more than once. He lives west of Chicago.
